Participants were 35 professionals working on the USAID’s Competitiveness, SCOPES and Agribusiness projects, as well as partners from SIEPA and World Trade Organization (WTO).
“During these two trainings I got familiar with a great tool to increase market driven Serbian agricultural products sales and export. I have learned how to determine the structure of the world market for a specific product, what are the trade partners for my country and target markets, which countries are competing in certain markets, what tariff barriers exist there, and where opportunities for market diversification are,” says Pedja Cerovi?, the USAID Agribusiness Project Fruit Sector Lead.
Trainings was designed and conducted by International Trade Centre UNCTAD/WTO, experts.
“The technical level of participants was high and contributed to a very rapid and impressive progress in the implementation of the workshop. The combination of participants from SIEPA and from the USAID projects enriched the workshop and allowed remarkable debates and information-sharing discussions. I enjoyed this mission very much,” says Eric Buchot, Market Analyst, one of the trainers.
